Assorted Chiffon Tins
This lovely Heartshape Chiffon Tin is one of the dream pan for most bakers (it is not available in Singapore; at least not in those baking ingredients shop like sunlik, phoon huat or bake king) and it is available online from Rakuten or Japan (departmental store). The pan is slight heavier as compared to the normal chiffon tin we get in Singapore and the price is also much higher (between 4 - 5 times the price of a normal chiffon tin in Singapore) due to the overseas postage and etc.
So if any of your friends or yourself is planning to go Japan, perhaps you could check out this lovely pan at their departmental stores such as Tokyo Hands (kitchenware section) for less than SG$30.00
But if shape is your main concern, you can easily grab any metal chiffon tin at any of the local baking ingredients shops mentioned above. The price range from SG$6+ to S$20+ depending on the size and material made. I have 3 chiffon tins in total which are 2 rounds and a heartshape from size 15cm and 20cm.
On the hand for something presentable and convenience when you wanted to bake a chiffon cake as a gift. You can try getting one of these disposable chiffon case from Daiso. It's about SG$2.00 for two 15cm (wide) paper cases or you can get five 12cm paper case from Phoon Huat at less than SG$3.00.
With a desire tin, you can try to make any of these chiffon cake recipes featured below.
